Joe Nolan

Joe has been teaching guitar and bass for over 12 years.  Joe studied classical guitar and bass at Edinboro University and has received a Music Minor along with his B.S. in Education. While at Edinboro Joe played bass in the Jazz band and the Orchestra. Joe has also performed with and recorded with several bands from the Erie area including, Smoke and Mirrors, Digression, The Mulligans, the Good Guys, Nolan Jazz and has preformed solo.

I have been teaching music lessons for the past 11 years, both privately and for the parochial school district in Erie, PA. I have both Act 33 and 34 clearances. I specialize in guitar, bass, mandolin, banjo, composition and music theory. My background in music comes from studies at the Ronzetti Music School, where i studied with Basil Ronzetti; Slippery Rock University; other notable guitar teachers such as Frank Singer and George Jordan; and collaborations with fellow contemporaries such as Jonathon Nolan and Dave Nicosia. Lessons are offered Monday through Thursday, from 3pm to 8pm, and on Saturday mornings every first and third week of the month from noon to 2pm. Lessons are available for everyone from basic beginners through college level players. Half hour lessons are $18.
